The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the
County Commissioners# Wash ingtons Pa.* on itldays, January 89 1932* at 2 P.M.s
the fallowing members dieing present: County Commissioners Johnstone O'Neil and
Barnes and County Controller Woodward.
Chairman Johnston presiding.
Motion by Mr. Woodwards seconded by Mr. O'Neil* that persons employed for
the purpose of doing entra work in any of the various Court House offices shall
be paid at the rate of Three (30--00) Dollars per diem for time actually em-
ployed.
Lotion carried.
Motion by Mr. O'Neils seconded by Mr. Johnston# that the salary of Georgene
H. Morton# employed as ttenographer in the office of the County Superintendent
of Sohoolss be fixed at the sum of 110.00 per month. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Boards it was adjourned to meet
at the call of the Chairman';

The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries
in the. office of the Prothonotary# met in the office of the County Commissioners]
Washington# Pa.# on - Friday# January 8* 1932s at 11:40 A.M.s members present
being County Commissioners Johnstone OfNeil and Barnes* County Controller Wood-
ward and Prothonotary E. T. McNary.
Chairman Johnston presiding.
Motion by Mr. McNary# seconded by Mr, Woodward# that the following persons
be employed in the office of the Prothonotary for the ensuing years in the po-
stions as set forth below* with proviso that any of said employees may be dis-
missed upon 30 days notice; --Curtis F. McNarys Deputy Prothonotary; Ruth B.
Millers &lerk; Russell Riggles clerk; Margaret Russells clerk; Helen Pollock#
clerk; Myrtle Fetherlins clerk. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. McNarys seconded by Mr. Barnes* that the persons this day
appointed as Deputy and clerks in the office of the Prothonotary be paid the
following salaries:
Curtis F. McNarys Deputy*
Ruth B. Millers clerks
Russell Rigles clerk#
Helen Pollocks clerks
Margaret Russel# clerks
Myrtle Fetherlins clerks

the office of Recorder of Deeds # met in the office of the County Commissioners;
Waahingtons Pass on _ 4Friday* January 8# 19321, at 2:30 PDX* s the following mem-
bers being present: County Commissioners Johnston, O'Neil and Karnes# County
Controller Woodward and L. Frank Bakers Recorder.
Chairman Johnston presiding.
Motion by Mr. Bakers seconded by Mr. Woodwards that the following persons
be employed in the office of the Recorder of Deeds$for the ensuing years in the
p6sitions and with the salaries opposite the name of each$ as set forth below#
with proviso that any of said employees may be dismissed upon 30 days notice: -
Deputy Recorders Bernice Bakers salary of 17500 per Mo.

the office of the Clerk of Courts met in the office of the County Commissioners*
Washingtons Pa.# on ..T!r1dayq January 8s 1932# at 3 P.M.*' members present being
County Commissioners Johnatons OtNeil and Barnes# County Controller Woodward and
Wm.D. Davies* Clerk of Courts.
Chairman Johnston presiding.
Motion by Mr. Davies# seconded by Mr. Barnes* that the following persons
be employed as Deputy and clerk in the office of Clerk of Courts for the ensuing
years with proviso that any of said employees may be dismissed upon 30 day's
notice;
Samuel Chaney* Deputy Clerk of Courts;
Mary McGregor* part time clerk in said office.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Davies* seconded by Mr. Barnes* that the salary of Samuel
Chaney* Deputy Clerk of Courts # be fixed at 175�_e� P mo. and that the salary of
Mary McGregor* part time clerk in said offices be fixed at $55.00 per month.
Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board it
was adjourned.
