BARNES, COMMISSIONERS 1 1 The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries in the office of Register of Wills met in the office of the County Commissioners# Washing- govL# Pao* on Saturdays January 9* 1932s at 11 A.M.s members present being County Commissioners Johnston* O'Neil and Barnes# County Controller Woodward and R, J. Coulson# Register of Wills. Chairman Johnston presiding. Motion by Mr. Coulson* seconded by Mr. Woodward# that Raymond Goodridge be ap- pointed Deputy Register of Wills and that Thelma MacBeth be appointed clerk in the office of the Register of Wills for the month of Januarys 1932s and that Miss Louise Kinder be appointed clerk in said offices her said appointment to be effed4i tine February 1* 1932. Motion carried* Motion by Mr. Coulson# seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the salaries of persons this day appointed Deputy and clerk in the office of Register of Wills be fixed for the ensuing year for Deputy and clerks at the following sums: - Raymond Goodridges Deputy Registers 2400900 per annum. Thelma MacBeth, Clerks at rate of Louise Kinder, clerk# Motion carried* 1440.00 per annum. for ' the month of January # 19 32. $1200.00 per annums to be effective February 1 s 1932. r,R There being no further business before the Boards it was adjourned. The Salary Board of the County of Washington met in the office of the County Commissioners# Washington# Paovom1kM2tday# January 9# 1932s at 11:40 A.M.s at the call of the Chairman# members present being County Commissioners Johnston, O'Neil and Barnes and County Controller Woodward. Chairman Johnston presiding. Motion by Mr. Barnes* seconded by Mr. O'Neil, that Mrs* Anna Hair be appointed Matron at Juvenile Det6n.tion Rooms and that Elizabeth Flair be appointed Assistant Matron at Juvenile Detention Rooms for the ensuing year* with proviso that either may be dismissed upon 30 day's notice# and that the salaries of each be fixed as follows: Anna Hair* Elizabeth Hairs Motion carried. 55QQO per month 30.00 per month Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Woodward* that the salary of the operator of elevator in Court House be fixed,at $70.00 per month for the ensuing year. A, BARNES, COMM14510NXRS Motion by Mr. Barnes# seconded by Mr, O'Neil# that Miss Margaret Spriggs be appointed stenographer and clerk in the office of the County Engineer and that her salary be fixed at $110*00 per month for ensuing years said appointment being with proviso that she may be dismissed upon 30 day's notice, Motion carried, Motion by Mr. O'Neil# seconded by Mr, Barnes# that such work as may be re- quired to be performed in connection with repairs and maintenance of public roads and bridges be paid for at rate of 50 cents per hour# for forvaans and 40 cents per hour for labor. Motion carried'; There being no further business before the Boards motion by Mr, O'Neil* seconded by Mr, Barnes, that it adjourn to meet at the call of the Chairman. Motion carried and Board stood adjourned M_M�_40 The Salary Board of the County of Washingtom met in the office of the County Commissioners# Court Houses Washington# Pa.* on Monday# January lls 1932s at 4 P at the call of the Chairman* members present being Messrs, Johnston* O'Neil and Barnes and County Controller Woodward. Chairman Johnston presiding, Motion by Mr. O'Neil* seconded by Mr. Woodward# that the following former employees of the County Engineer's Department be called for services as required* payment to be made on per diem basis, to -wit; Mr, Crumrine to be paid $6.50 per diem; Mr. Doak to be paid 5.50 per diem; Mr. Farrar to be paid 5.00 per diem; Mr. Brady to )De paid 4.50 per diem; Mr. Courson to be paid 4,00 per diem, and that mileage charge at rate of ten (10) cents per mile be allowed for 5 pass. enger car for hauling equipments etc.# and that mileage charge at rate of eight (8) cents per mile be allowed for 2 passenger cars and# furthers that said persons while in the employ of the County as aforesaid, shall not be allowed an expense account, Motion carried. There being no further business before the Boards motion by Mr. Woodward* seconded by Mr. O'Neil# that Board adjourn to meet at the call of the Chairman, Motion carried and Board stood adjourned, R 1 �1 U 1 1
