BARNES, COMMISSIONERS Office of the County Commissioners , Washington, Pa. , January 3, 1928. Adjourned meeting of the County Commissioners at 1:30 P-M. , members present being Messrs . Walker, Johnston and Barnes . Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr, Barnes , that all present em- ployees in the office of the County Commissioners be employed for the en- suing year in their present capacities , with the exception of Leo Maloney, who is to be , hereafter, designated as assistant to the chief clerk, but whose -duties are to remain practically the same as heretofore. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Barnes , seconded by fir. Johnston, that all employees of the County of Washington, coming under the jurisdiction of the County Com- missioners., including all employees in the Road Department, the superin- tendent and assistant superintendent of Court House, night watchman, sealer of weights and measure$, scrub women and cleaners in and about the Court House, engineer McCormick and assistant engineer Ward at engine room, are all hereby retained in their respective positions for the ensuing" year.' and" that an extra employee, as may be required at the engine room, to be employed as at resent or heretofore on a per d' s present, p them base with the provision that j the Commissioners reserve the right at any time, upon thirty day' s notice, l " to dismiss from their service any of the employees in their own office and � other departments who have thus been retained. lotion carried. k Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes , that the Board adjourn r to convene as Salary Board with the garious county offices affected by the action of such board.
