BARNES, COMMISSIONERS Board, it was adjourned# The Salary Board having to do with salaries in the office of the County Treasurer, convened, members present being County Commissioners Walker, Johns- ton and Barnes, Controller Underwood and County Treasurer, John No O'Neil, Motion by Mr. O'Neil, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the following . persons be appointed in and for the office of County Treasurer; Deputy, Lillian H.OtNeil; Clerks, Mayme B. Richardson, Jane Maurer, Marion Scholl Crows and that their sal- aries be fixed as follows; Lillian H. O'Neil, $200 per month; mayme B. Richardson, $175 per month; Jane Maurer, $155 per month; Marion Scholl Crows $130 per month. Motion was carried. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that Salary Board adjourn until Wednesday morning, January 4th. Motion carried and Board stood adjourned. The Salary Board having to do with salaries in the office of the Sheriff* convened in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., Wednesday, January 4, 1928, at 11 A.M., members present being County Commission- ers Walker, Johnston and Barnes, Controller Underwood and Sheriff Ody Go Abbott. Motion by Mr. Abbott, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the following persons be appointed employees in and for the office of the Sheriff, to -wit: J. A. Seaman, Chief deputy; Otto Luellen, deputy; James Kane, deputy; Ola Marsh, clerk and stenographer; Harry Do Hamilton, solicitor, and that their salaries be fixed as follows; J. A. Seaman, $225 per month; Otto Luellen, $175 per'month; James Kane $125 per month; Ola Marsh, $125 per month; Harry Do Hamilton, $500 per annum.as fixed by Act of Assembly. Motion carried. There beihg no furthei business before the Board, it was adjourned. The Salary Board having to do with salaries in the office of the Clerk of Courts, convened at 11.30 A.M., members present beiing County Commissioners Walker, Johnston, and Barnes, Controller Underwood and Clerk of Courts, E.G.McGregar. Motion By Mr. McGregor* seconded by Mr. Johnston, that Ellen To Schneck be ,appointed chief clerk in and for the office of Clerk of Courts and that her salary be fixed at $150 per month, and that Mary E. McGregor be appointed index clerk in said office, her salary to be fixed at $50 per month, and that such additional clerks as may be required to appear in Court to represent the office shall be paid a sum, to be certified by the Clerk, not to exceed the maxium of $6.00 per diem, Motion carried.
