BARNES, COMMISSIONERS -------------_----------- The Salary Board having to do with dalaries in the office of the Coroner, convened at 11:45 A.M., members present being County Commissioners Walker, Johnston and Barnes, Controller Underwood and Coroner William B. Baker. Notion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that Mary E. McGregor be employed as stenographer and clerk in and for the office of Coroner and that her salary be fixed at $50 per month. ]Motion carried. There being no further bksbness before the Board, it was adjourned. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the Salary Board adjourn until the afternoon of Wednesday, January 4th. Motion carried and Board stood adjourned. Adjourned meeting of Salary Board held in office of County Commissioners, Wednesday, January 4, 1928, at 2:45 P.M. all members of the Board being present. The Salary Board having to do with salaries of all county employees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, convened at above hour, members Dresent being County Commissioners Walker, Johnston and Barnes and Controller Underwood. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the salaries of em- ployees of the County of Washington, coming under the jurisdiction of the County Employees, excepting those employegs in the County Engineering Department, Leo Maloney, in.the office of the County Commissioners and Henry Keeling, night watchman, and including the superintendent and assistant superintendent of the court house, sealer - of weights and measures-, stenographer in the office of County Superintendent of Schools, scrub women and cleaners -in and about the court house, engineer and assistant at engine room, remain the same as heretofore, and that the salary of Leo Maloney, in the office of County Commissioners, be fixed at $175 per month and that of henry Keeling, night watchman, be fixed at #125 per month and that action on salaries of employees of County Engineering Department be deferred until a later date. Motion carried. There being no further busi- ness before.the Board, it was adjourned. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by fir. Johnston, that the Salary Board ad- journ until Friday morning, January 6, 1928. Motion carried and Board stood adjourned.
