The salary board having to do with salaries in and for the office of
County Controller, convened on Wednesday, January 4, 19284 at 11:10 A.M.,
members present being County Commissioners Walker, Johnston and Barnes and
County Controller Underwood. Motion by Mr. Underwood that the following
employees, with salaries indicated, be appointed in and for the office of
County Controller; Deputy, (dark M. Decker, salary 200 per month; clerk
Paul Porter, salary 150 per month;,clerk, Ann Miller, salary 125 per month
and that Walter Reynolds be employed as an additional clerk in the office, at
a salary of $150 per month, There was no second to this motion and dr. Under-
wood withdrew it. Motion then made by Mr. Underwood that.Walter Reynolds be
appointed as additional clerk in the office of the County Controller, for the
purpose of auditing Justice of the Peace transcripts, at a salary of $150 per
month, No second to this motion.
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the Board adjourn
until Friday moritng, January 6, 1928.
Motion carried and Board stood adjourned until Friday morning, January
6, 1928.

Adjourned meeting of the Salary Board having to do with salaries in and
for the office of the County Controller, convened in the office of the County
Commissioners on Friday morning, January 6, 1928, at 11 o'clock A.M# members
present being County Commissioners Walker, Johnston and Barnes; Controller
Underwood not present. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by dr. Johnston, that
Board adjourn until 1:30 P-M. Motion carried and Board stood adjourned until
that hour.
Adjourned meeting of Salary Board having to do with salaries in and for
the office of the County Controller, convened on January 6, 1928, at 1:30 P.M.,
members present being County Commissioners Walker* Johnston and Barnes; Con-
troller Underwood not present.. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Jalinston,
that Board adjourn to meet at call of Qbairman.
