A joint meeting of Fayette and Washington County Commissioners
was held May 9th, 1928 at Belle Vernon Bridge, Those present were Clommissioners
Hibbs , McClelland and Langley of -Fayette County$ Commissioners Walker, Johnston
and Barnes , and Controller Underwood of 'Washington County, Engineer Clemmer of
Fayette County and John Farris of the Farris Engineering Company.
Mr. Hibbs presided and Mr. Barnes acted as secretary.
On -regular action by Mr. Johnston and seconded by Mr. McClelland,
,arris Engineering Company are to be instructed to proceed with repairs to
superstructure, namely, the removing of blocks from the floor and piling them
at each end of bridge, making all necessary repairs to plank sub-base and the
li placing of trqffic treads on the floor and making repairs necessary to side-
walk. They are also to replace all steel necessary in superstructure at unit
prices provided in present contract.
