The following Resolutions were duly presented, seconded and unanimously
adopted;--
WHEREAS. there has been presented a petition from the Supervisors of
Union Township that a section of highway in said Township, being about 2640 feet
in length and situated as follows ; Mingo-Courtney Road beginning near the Gault
farm and extending toward Courtney a distance of one-half mile more or less , is
in need of improvement, and desiring to take advantage of the provisions of the
Act of June 12, 1919, amended by Act of March 10, 1921, be it
RESOLVED, that we, the said Commissioners of Washington County, agree
on behalf of said County to contribute $1000 towards the improvement of said
road (from current revenues ) ; and WHEREAS, there has been presented a petition
from the Supervisors of Cecil Township that a section of highway in said Town-
ship, being about 1320b feet in length and situated as follows ; beginning at
Hendersonville and extending to Hill Station, is in need of improvement* and
desiring to take advantage of provisions of the Act of June 12, 1919, amended
by Act of March 10, 1921* be it
RESOLVED, that we, the said Commissioners of Washington County, agree
an behalf of said County to contribute $ towards the improvement of said
road (from current revenues ) .
There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned.
