Washington, Pa., Oct. 10, 1928.
Corrmiissioners in regular session,' members present being Messrs.
Walker, Johnston and Barnes;
The following Resolution was presented, duly adopted unanimously; -
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Board, petition from the
Supervisors of West Finley Township, representing that a section of highway
in said Township, being about 5280 feet in length and situated as follows;
BEGINNING at the Donegal Township line and running past therresidence of
Elymas Sampson and W. K. Stout, is in need of improvement and setting forth
that said Township desires to take advantage of the provisions of the Act
approved June 12, 1919, and amendments, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That we., the Commissioners of "ashington County, on
this 10th day of October, 1928, agree on behalf of said County to contribute
one-third of the costs of construction, and not to exceed the amount of
$2500.00, from current revenues towards the improvement of highway specified
in the application of the Township of West Finley, above recited*
There being no further business, the Board adjourned.
