Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston,
Walker and Barnes.
1411otion by Mr. 'Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that County Treasurer be
directed to transfer, with approval of County Controller, the sum of One Hun-
dred Thousand ($100 000.00) Dollars from the Road Funds of the County of
Washington, to the Gendral Fund of said County, for the purpose of meeting cur-
rent expenses of the County. Motion unanimously carried.

The following Resolution was, presented, duly seconded, and adopted;--
Whereas,, the State Highway Department has under construction Section 7 A
of State Highway -locate No. 268,, in East Pike Run and Ellsworth Borough,, at
cost of $66, 553.75, now,
Be it Resolved:--That the total cost of contract be now fixed at $82,, 518-87,
which includes t--e sum of s5682.06, in excess of15 per cent allowed for in
original contract,, for changes, alterations and improvements and that the County
of Washington shall pay 50 per cent of total cost and expenses of such improve-
ment-------and
Le it Resolved;-That the Donora Construction Company, under its contract
for construction of State Highway Route No. 240, Section 10,, Application No.
4094-4095,, be authorized to make additional improvements; 45.65 sq yds. Subgrade;
326 lin. ft. Shoulders; 39.97 sq yds. Reinforced Concrete Pavement; 0.4 lin.
ft. Concrete Pipe; 2.8 lin. ft 540"Reinforced Concrete Fipe; 185 cu. ft. 4" Tile
underdrain2 to be paid at contract unit price; the additional estimated costs
being $408.46 under this authorization.
