BARNES, COMMISSIONERS Office of the County Commissioners , Washington# Pa. * Feb. 9# 1940* Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs * Walker, Johnston and Barnes* Motion by Mr. Barnes , seconded by Mr. Walker, that Samuel Workman be em- ployed in the office of the County Commissioners , efiective 2ebruary 15# 1928, for extra work in the matter of checking up judgments , mortgages , looking up titles to county-owhed properties for purpose of disposing of same at public sale, etc. , etc. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Johnston that Harry E. Pollock be employed by County Com- missioners- for similar work and in similar capacity as Mr. Workman, just elect- ed. Office of the County Commissioners , 'Washington, Pa. , Feb. 9, 19284 Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs * Walkers Johnston and Barnes * The following resolutions were duly presented, seconded and adopted:- RESOLVED, That the petitions prepared for presentation to and approval by the Grand Jury of the following two sections of road in Canton Township', to-wit: the Tylerdale-Lincoln Hill Road and the Caldwell Avenue Roads be withdrawn for the reason that the Supervisors of Canton Township have refused to join the County in payment of the cost of these improvements. RESOLVED, That the following bridges be presented to the Grand Jury for approval for their replacement: McBride Bridge, Raccoon No. 9,$ McDonald Water Works Bridge, Raccoon No. 10; Bavington Bridge, Raccoon Creek No. 18; Gastonville Bridge, Peters Creek, No-3 and the Childreds Home Bridge, Chartiers Creek No. 51.
