The follo*1 esolution, was presented, duly seconded and unanimously
adopted;-
WHEREAS, the Coun of Washington has applied for aid and co-operation
of the State in the reconstru ' on or improvement of Section Nei* 1 of State
Highway Route No. 519, in the To of Pallowfield, in accordance with the
provisions of the Act Of May 17, 1 P. L, 235,- said road being situate as
follows ;--
From a point at the end - of the sent concrete pavement at' Station
No. 289 39-43 to route No. 118 at a point n r Johnstown, six miles from Bentley-
ville at Station 340 14.22--application No. 42 Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County ofnWashi ton agrees to pay its proQ,, ll
portionate share, being fifty per centum of the cost o said improvement and the
County of Washington is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with the
Secretary of highways , providing for such payment*

The following resolution was presented, duly seconded and adopted;--
WHEREAS, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by the Secretary of Highways ,
is about to reconstruct and improve a section of eighteen feet in width of
State Highway Route 545, Section No. 1, within the Township of Mt. Pleasant,
and the County of Washington, and
WHEREAS, the County desires to improve the entire width in connection with
the improvement of the said section of State Highway, description of which is as

follows ;
From a point 0.4 mile south of Atchinson at Station 298 22.00 to a point
in the village of Hickory at the property of J K' Chalfant at Station 410 60.00.
