Washington, Pa. , Aug. 28, 1928.
Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker, Johnston and Barnes;
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that a contract be
entered into with the Jones Construction Company, contractors on a certain
section of highway in Mt. Pleasant Township, on Route No. 545, Section No. 11
on which the said Jones Construction Company has the contract from the State
Highway Department, for extra width of paving over the 18 foot width which
will be constructed for the Commonwealth, in accordance with the drawings ap-
proved July 23, 1928, the said section of road being approximately 11,234 feet
in length and at unit prices bid by said contractor for the respective es-
timated' quantities, aggregating approximately the sum of $11,,515,,90,, includ-
ing grading, excavating required, additional concrete paving and curbing pipe
,
etc. , as itemized in said contract that is to be executed. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned.

purchase 1 G. M. C. Truck, 2 1 2 ton capacity, at the following price, as per
items listed;

Freight, 1.100.00
Pneumatic tire equipment,

38 X 7, dual, 395-00
Notary fee for transfer, .50 $4934.50
