Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Barnes,, Walker and Johnston.
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Walker,, that the County of
Washington appropriatel in accordance with provisions of the Act of Assembly
in such case made and provided, the sum of Two Thousend ($2000) Dollars towards
the expense of constructing and erecting a Nar Memorial in Monongahela, by the
Frank Downer Post No. 302 American Legion, said Memorial having been duly ap-
proved by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Art Commission, and that a warrant
for the said sum of $2000 be drawn in favor of Carl Swallow, Treasurer of said
Frank Downer Post No. 304, American -Legion, Monongahela, Pa.
Motion carried.

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Walker, that Bonds be awarded
to R. M. Snyder & Co., Philadelphia, at their bid, as submitted, vizi par, ac-
crued interest and premium of $3132.50, and that certified checks be returned
to all unsuccessful bidders .
Motion carried.
