BARNES, COMMISSIONERS Office of County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., May 9, 1929. Board of County Commissioners in regular session., each member having had personal notice of the meeting, members present being Messrs. Barnes, Walker and Johnston. The following Resolution- of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington relative to the issue by the said County of 60,000.00 in temporary LoahA was presented, duly seconded and unanimously adopted by said Board, to-wit; WIEREAS, it has become necessary for the said Board to borrow the sum of $20,,000.00 for the purpose of meeting current expenses for which taxes have been .leviedbut are not yet paid into the County Treasury.) now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by thE Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington that for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current expenses, the proper officers of the said County are hereby authorized and direct- ed to negotiate temporary loans and issue Notes therefor, payable on demand,, with interest from date of issue; said Notes to be negotiated and issued as follows; Name of Instituation Amount Union Trust Company7 Donora $201,000.00 May 9, 1929. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Barnes Johnston and Walker. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by M W r. alker, that additional appro- priations, for Memorial Day Observance on -Wia�r 30, 1928, be made to the following organizations participating thereon and for the amounts indicated, the said organizations having failed to present a certified account of their expenditures at the time that similar bodies made return thereof, and when original appropri- ations for 1928 were made;- American Legion Post, No. 391, Fredericktown,, Grant McCarty, Adjutant, $50.00 G. A. R. Post No. 168; American Legion Post, No 377 And Citizens Committee, of California, Pa., F. G. Latta, Treas. Citizens Committee., $125.00 Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned, (SIGNED)_
