Commissioners in regular session, members present being 1"essrs. Barnes,
Johnston and Walker;-
The following resolution was presented, duly seconded and unanimously
adopted:-
WITERFAS:—The Courts and County Officers require Alterations, Additions
and changes to be made in and about the Present Court House Building: ther4are,
Be it resolved that Architect F. J. Osterling is employed to prepare the necessary
studies, preliminary drawinga and estimates of the proposed work for the informa-
tion and guidance of the County Commissioners and upon their further direction,
to prepare Working Plans and Specifications and supervise the work of construction
as usual and customary among Architects and under tJm regular Schedule of the
American Institute of Architects and for a fee of ten per cent (10%) of the total
cost of the completed work, and for any work that may not be carried to completion,
a fee in proportion thereto for the Services rendered. That an additional fee of
five per cent (5%) be paid in case the work shall be awarded under Separate
Contracts; that tb@- 5erViC0a, will be fdLithfully performed and to the satisfaction
of the County Commissioners.
There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned.

Motion by Mr . Johnston, seconded by Mr. Walker that the County Controller
be requested to advertise for bids for the work required in providing a new
Orphans' Court room in the 3rd Story of the present Orphans ' Court room.
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned .
