Meeting of the Salary Board having to do with the matter of salaries
in and for the office of Recorder of Deeds, held in the office of the County
Commissioners, July 10 1929, at the call of Recorder L. Frank Baker, the fol-
lowing members being present; Recorder Baker, County Controller Underwood,
County Commissioner Johnston; Messrs. Walker and Barnes, County Commissiorare
and members of the Board, Having notice of the meeting, but absent;
Motion by Mr. Baker, following statement by him that Mrs Vesta Johnston
had resigned as a member of his clerical force, seconded by Mr. Underwood,
that lourella L. Todd be elected clerk in the office of Recorder, at salary of
60 per month, beginning with June 1, 1929s and that the salary of Bernice Baker,
a present clerk in said office, be fixed at $150 per month, beginning with June
1, 1929.
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.
