Washington, Pa. , September 10, 1929.
Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs . Barnes
and Johnston; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent; joint meeting
of County Commissioners and County Controller at 11:20 A. M* , to open bids
for delivery of ballots and supplies for Fall Primary of 1929 to the proper
election officers of the various election districts of the County of Washing-
ton; present for County Commisaionerso Messrs . Barnes and Johnston, and County
Controller, Underwood; bids from following persons were opened in presence
of County Commissioners and duly read, each bid being accompanist by certified
cheek in amount as required;

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that contract be awarded
to L. X. Maxwell, at his low bid $246.00. and that Controller return checks
to all unsuccessful bidders. Motion carried. There bttgg no further business
before the joint meeting, it was adjourned.
