Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Barnes
and Johnston; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent.
The following Resolutions were presented, duly seconded and adopted;
RESOLVED; That the County of Washington contribute the sum of $5060 per
mile from current revenues towards the improvement of that section of highway
in Deemston Borough, starting at a point near Turkey foot and extending South
towards Sandy Plains two (2) Miles, more or less , toad to be constructed of
sheet asphalt, 16 ft. in width, as per petition presented to the County Com-
missioners by the Borough Council of the Borough of Deemstons and, further
RESOLVED; That the County of Washington contribute the total sum of $2000
from current revenues towards the improvement of that section of highway in
Buffalo Townships being about 6700 feet in length and situated as follows;
Beginning at Logan's Corners extending to residence of "arry Knox in a Forth-
wardly direction and Beginning at Rosemore 'Jarage on National Pike, extending
South one mile, more or less, as per petition presents to the �;ounty Commis-
sioners by the Supervisors of said Buffalo Township, and, further
RESOLVED; That the County of 'Washington contribute the sum of $2500 per
mile from current revenues towards the improvement of that section of highway
in South Franklin Township, being about 7920 feet in length and situated as
follows; Beginning at korris Township line and extending North along Ten Mile
Creek, one and one-half miles ; construction to be in form known as Traffic
Bound, as per petition presented to the County Commissioners by the Supervisors
of said South Franklin Township, and, further
RESOLVED; That the County of Washington contribute the sum of $1000 per
mile from current revenues towards the improvement of that section of highway
in Long Branch Boroughs being about 7920 feet in length and known as the Twilight
Coal Road, as per petition presented to the County Commissioners by the Borough
Council of said Long Branch Borough, and, further,
RESOLVED; That the County of Washington contribute the sum of $5000 per
mile from current revenues towards the improvement of that section of highway
in East Finley Township, being about 11,525 feet in length, situated as fol-
lows ; Beginning at end of improved road South of residence of George Newland
and extending to the Bridge at Last Finley, as per petition presented to the
County Commissioners by the Supervisors of said East Finley Township.
There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourn6d.
