BARNES, COMMISSIONERS February 27, 1929. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Barnes and Johnston; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. "arnes, that County Controllerl be requested to advertise for bids for construction and erection of metal equip ment, as required, in office of Register of Wills,, plans and specifications to be seen at the office of the County Commissioners. Question called for; voting "Aye" Messrs, Barnes and Johnston. Motion carried. February 27, 1929. The salary board having to do with the matter of salaries in and for the office of the Recorder of Deeds, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court house, Washington, Pa., on Wednesday, February 27th, 1929, at the call of Recorder L. Frank Baker, members present being Recorder Baker, County Commissioners -barnes and Johnston, County Controller`Ubderwood. Motion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, th,t the transcribing force in the office of the Recorder of Deeds be increased by the addition of three employees and that the following persons be thus employed; Irene Barbour, Marie Lincoln, Agnes Hull, and that the salary of each be fixed at rate of $85.00 per month, that of Irene Barbour to be as of February lat., and of the others to be as of March la.t, 1929. Motion carried. adjourned. Where being no further business before the Board, the meeting was (SIG1) County Commissioners. L 1 1
