BARNES, COMMISSIONERS January 3. 1929. The Salary Board for the County of ilashington, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Thursday, January 3, 192% for organization, the following members being present; County Commissioners IV % A. Barnes, J. J. E. Johnston and J. W. Wa ker, and County Controller, T. J. Underwood, The Board proceeded to organize, there being ,a. motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that County Commissioner J. E Johnston be Ilected ,Chairman. Motion carried and Mr. Johnston declared elected. Motion by Ya-. Walker, seconded by Mr. Underwood, that John G. Hall, chief clerk to County Commissioners, be elected Secretary? Motion carried. The Salary Board having to do with the matter of salaries in and for the office of -Register of Wills met intthe office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Thursday, January 3, 1929, at,2,35 P. M., the following members being present; County Commissioners Barnes, Johnston and Vialker, County Controller Underwood, Register of Wills R. J. Coulson.. Chairman Johnston in the chair. ".,Lotion by Mr. Coulson, seconded by Mr. Barnes'. that all employees in the office of the Register of Wills be retained for the ensuing year, at same salmi---'-' cries as heretofore. M., following members being present; County Commis- sioners, Barnes,, Johnston and Walker, and County Controller Underwood. Chairman Johnston in the chair. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the salaries of all employees in the office of tie County Comissioners and all other county employees coming under the jurisdiction of t,.he County Commissioners, shall remain the same a -- as heretofore, for the ensuing year.
