The salary board having to do with the matter of salaries in and for the office of the County Commissioners, met in the office of the County Commissioners on February 1, 1929, at the call of President Barnes,, of the Board of County Commissioners, members present being County Commissionem,Barmes and Walker and County Controller Underwood, Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the salary of Hazel Foor, operator at telephone exchange, be fixed at Ninety ($90) Dollars per month, beginning with February 1, 1929. Zotiimn carried* adjourned. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was (SIGNED) COUNTY COMMSIOMM. * L Office of the County Commissioners, I Washington, Pa., Feb. 12, 1929. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Barnes. Walkerl and Johnston. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rate of taxation upon the valuations of the properties of the county, in order to raise sufficient revenues to meet required expenditures for the year 1929, be fixed at nine (9) mills, which will make payment of taxes to the amount of 90 cents upon each One Hundred Dollars of assessed valuation of real estate and occupa- tions.
