The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, relative to the issue by the said County of $25,000.00 in temporary loans was presented, duly seconded and unanimously adopted by the Board, to-wit; y WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the said Board to borrow the sum of $25,000.00 for the purpose of meeting current expenses of the county, Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County of Washington that for the purpose of providing funds for the pay- ment of current expenses, the proper officers of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate temporary loans and issue Notes therefor, payable on demand, with interest from date of issue; said Notes to be negotiated and issued as follows; Name of Institution Amount The First rational Bank, Fredericktown, 25,000.00 i MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JAMES W. The SRlary Board having to do with the matter of salaries and employees in and for the office of Coroner, met on January 29, 1930, at 2:45 P. M. p at the call of Coroner Baker; members present, County Commissioners Johnston, Barnes and Walker, Controller Woodward and Coroner Baker; Chairman Johnston presiding. Motion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Woodward, that Mary McGregor be retained as Clerk in the office of Coroner, at same salary as heretofore, to- wit, $50.00 per month. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was duly adjourned. ------------ The Salary Board havong to do with the matter of salaries and employees in and for the office of Clerk of Qourts, met on January 29, 1930 . at 3 P. M. 2 at the call of Clerk Davies; members present, County Commissi&ners Johnston, Barnes and Walker, Controller Woodward and Clerk of Courts Davies; Chairman Johnston Presiding. Motion by Mr. Davies, seconded by Mr. Walker, that Irene Burroughs be retained as clerk in the office, at same salary as heretofore, to-tit $100 per month and that Mary McGregor be retained as clerk, as heretofore, giving part of her time to the duties of this office, at same salary as -for last year, to-wit, $50 per month. Motion carried. There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was adjourned. January 29th 1930 The Salary Board of the County of Washington met on January 2�k,* 1930t ' at 3:15 P. Motion by Mr. WalK/er. seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the salary of the Jail Warden, Mr. D. W. Creigh, be fixed at the same figure as heretofore provided
