BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

Office of the County Commissioners,
Washington, Pa. , June 5, 1930.
Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having
had personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Johnston, Walker
and Barnes.
The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Washington, relative to the issue by the said County of $25,000.00
in temporary loans was presented, duly seconded and unanimously adopted by
said Board, to wit : -
7FHEREAS, it has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum
��25000.00 for the purpose of meeting current expenses for this year 1930
and for which taxes have been levied but not yet paid in to the County Treasury,
now, therefore
Be it resolved, by the Board of County Commissioners of the said
County of Washington, for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of
current expenses, the proper officers of the said County are hereby authorized
to negotiate temporary laons and issue notes therefor, payable on demand,
with interest from date, said Notes to be negotiated and issued as follows,
Charleroi Savings & Trust Co. , Charleroi, Pa. $25,000.00
June 5, 1930.
Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Johnston.. Walker and Barnes. The following Resolution was presented, duly
seconded and adopted:-
RESOLVED, That the County of Washington contribute a sum
not to exceed $2500 per mile, from current revenues, towards the improvement
of a certain highway in East Finley Township, starting at a point at J. J.
Buchanan Store on Burnsville Road and extending towards Pleasant Grove a dis-
tance of 1 mile; construction to be traffic bound macadem. as per petition
presented by Supervisors of said East Finley Township.

and Barnes. The following Resolution was presented, duly seconded and adopted:-
RESOLVED, That the County of Washington contribute a sum not to exceed
812,000 from current revenues, towards the improvement of a certain highway in
Chartiers Township, starting at a point on the Northern Bvrough line of

Houston and extending through the village of Midland, a distance of 1 mile,
more or less, as per petition presented by Supervisors of said Chartiers
Township.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned.
