Joint meeting of County Commissioners and County Controller at 12 M. to
receive bids for Durant 4-cylinder automobile, with allowance for used car,' as
per advertisement by Controller; present for County Commissioners, Messrs
Johnston and Barnes; Controller Woodward present; but one bid received, as fol-
fows : -
Courson Burson Motors, Inc., bid for furnishing Durant 4-cylinder auto-
mobile, as, per specifications, fully equiped------------------------ $735.00
Allowance for used car ---------------------------------------- 205.00
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that contract for fur-
nishing Durant 4-cylinder 1utomobile, fully equipped, as indicated, be awarded
to Courson-Burson Motors, Inc., at cash price of $530.00•: Motion carried.
Nov. 17, 1930.

Bids for the sale
of $250,000 Road Improvement Bond&, 44%19 series B 1930, opened
at 11.15 A M.,
bids being received from following concerns, each bid accompanied
by certified
check for $2500, as required.

Interest and guaranteed to relieve County of
payment of State tax of 4 mills for period
of 10 years, with probability of relief through-
out life of bonds; Bid e uivalent to pir, accrued
interest and Premium of 10,000.00.
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that Bonds be awarded
to First Bank & Trust Company, of Washington, Pa., at their bid of par, accrued
interest and cash premium of $9375.00. Question called for;
voting "Aye", Messrs.
Barnes and Johnston. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, the meeting was ad-
journed.
