BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA
JAMES W. WALKER, J. ELMER JOHNSTON. W.A. BARNES, COMMISSIONERS
The Salary Board having to do with the matter of employees and salaries
in and for the office of the Register of Wills and ex-officio Clerk of the
Orphans' Court, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House,
Washington, Pa., on Monday, January 6. 1930, at 4:10 P. M. , members present being
Messrs. Johnston, Barnes and Walker, County Commissioners, County Controller
Woodward and Register R. J. Coulson.
Motion by Mr. Coulson, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the employees in the
office.,-iof Register of Wills, etc. , be retained for the ensuing year, at same
salaries as heretofore. Motion carried,
There being no further business before the meeting, it was adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by M4. Walker, that the Salary Board ad-
jozmn to meet on Tuesday, January 7. 1930, at such hour as may be determined.
Motion carried and Board stoodaadjournedo

Washington, Pa., January 6, 1930.
Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Johnston, Walker and Barnes. The following Resolution was presented, duly
seconded and adopted;-
11rHEREAS, it appearing that thete are certain obligations for state
road construction due or which will be due before the sale of certain bonds
to be issued for the purpose of state road construction and there being
sufficient money in the genefal fund and county road bond funds to ,tempor-
arily take care of these obligations due the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania,
and it being the desire of the County Commissioners to avoid the payment of
of unnecessary interest, Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That the County Controller and County Treasurer are
hereby authorized to approve and honor warrants in the general fund and
county road bond fund for said purposes, with the' express understanding that
these respective funds will be credited with the respective amounts used from
them when the bonds for these purposes are sold and the money derived therefrom.
