BARNES, COMMISSIONERS Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., April 24, 1930. Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the County Controller be requested to advertise for bids for the construction of the following sections of road: - Hill Church -Eighty Four Road from Wylandville to Eighty Four, a distance of 9500 sq yds. more or less; Taylorstown-"S"-Bridge Road from the Taylorstown concrete road to the `IS" Bridge, a distance of 12,600 sq yds more or less; Lone Pine Road from Hart's Mills to Lone Pine, a distance of 31,000 sq yds more or less; --the above sections of highway to be surface treated with tar and limestone chips; --and the following section of road to be re -surfaced with a Bituminous Retread surface and other work incident thereto; Zollarsville Road from West Zollarsville towards Lone Pine to the southern end of the concrete pavement, a distance of 14,000 sq yds. more or less. Motion carried. ------------- April 24th 1930 Commissioners in being Messrs. regular session; members present Johnston, Walker and Barnes. The following Resolution was presented, duly seconded and unani- mously adopted; -- RESOLVED, That, in as much as the estimated cost of Special Aid project No. 6637, State Highway Route 115, Chartiers and Mt. Pleasant Townships, will be some $274,000, of which amount the State has funds in the amount of $175,000 to be applied thereto, the balance of approximately $99,000 to be divided equally between the State and the County, that -,Washington County ap- propriates the approximate sum of $49,000 to this project, this being the Countyts share thereof. SALARY BOARD. The Salary Board having to do with the matter of salaries and employees in and for the office of Recorder of Deeds met in the office of the MINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA JAMES W. WALKER, J. EL.MF_R JQHNSTQN, W, A. BARNES, COMMISSIONERS County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., on Thursday, April 24, 1930, at the call of Recorder Baker, the following 4iembers being present; County Commissioners Johnston and Barnes, County Controller Woodward and Recorder Baker; Chairman Johnston in the chair. Motion by Mr. Baker, seconded by Mr. Woodward, that the salaries of the following persons employed in the transcribing department of the office of Recorder, to -wit, Marie Lincoln, Helen R. Hall, and Margaret Sutherland be increased to the sum of One Hundred ($100) dollars per month, to be effective as of April lst, 1930. Motion carried. was adjourned.
