Board of County Commissioners in regular session, each member having j

had personal notice of meeting, members present being Messrs. Walker, Johnston
and Barnes.
The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the
County of Washington, relative to the issue by the said County of $259,000000 a
in temporary loans was presented, duly seconded and unanimously adopted by
I
said Board, to-wit:-
WHEREAS, it has become necessary for said Board to borrow the sum of
25,000,00, for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year and for
which taxes have been levied but not yet paid into the County Treasury, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of the said County
of Washington, for the purpose of providing funds for the payment of current !
expenses, the proper officers of the said County are hereby authorized to
!
negotiate temporary loans and issue Notes therefor, payable on demand, with !
i
interest from date, said Notes to be negotiated and issued as follows:- j
First Bank & Trust Company, Washington, Pa. $251,000.00
