COMMISSIONERS 1 Office of the County Commissioners Washington, Pa. , March 30, 1931 WHEREAS, the funds in the treasury of the County of Washington are at this time inadquate to satisfy and pay the current expenses, costs, debts or liabilities that are now payable, or are to presently become payable, and in order to pay the same it has become necessary to make a loan of approximately $Two Hundred fifty Thousand ( 250,000.00) Dollars; and WHEREAS, the County Commissioners 'have determined to borrow the said sum of Two hundred fifty thousand (250,000,00) Dollars, upon the notes of said County issued in anticipation of the taxes to be levied and collected during the year 1931, which said taxes will be more than sufficient to pay the principal and interest of the said loan of Two Hundred fifty thousand (1950,000.00) j Dollars. NOW, THEREZ RE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. County of Washington, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, shall borrow j Two hundred fifty thousand ( 250,000.00) Dollars in anticipation of taxes to be levied and collected by said County during the year 1931, 2. Said loan shall be secured by notes in substantially the form herein- after set forth, to be dated April 1, 1931, to be payable August 1, 1931, at the office of Graham, Parsons & Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and to bear interest at the rate -of four and one half per cent(4 ) per annum. Said notes shall be in the 'followin8 denominations: Five (5) notes in the principal amount of $50,000 each. 3. Said notes shall be executed by the County Commissioners,. with the seal of the County thereto affixed, dulyjattested by the` Commissionerts Clerk and shall be paid as recited therein on their respective maturity dates out of tadesr�l�e�rilsd �ndc�ceAleet�tl�dn��ee$�.arx; 1R53s �•u; . . .; . 4. Said Notes shall be in substantially the following form: 50,000. For value received, the County of Washington, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acknowledges itself indebted, and promises to pay to beardrrattAhe afftore of Graham, Parsons & Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the sum of Fifty Thousand ( 50,000) Dollars on August 1, 1931, with interest thereon at the rate of four and one-half (4j) per cent per annum. This note has been duly authorized by resolute of the County Commissioners of the County of Washington, duly adopted oapthd 30th day of March, 1931, and is issued in anticipation of and payable out of taxes to be assessed, levied and collected during the year 1931. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the County of Washington has caused this note to be executed by its commissioners, with the seal of the County hereunto affixed, duly attested by the Commissioner's Clerk, this 30th day of #arch, 1931.
