Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston j
and Barnes; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent, Commissioners

and County Controller in joint session to receive bids for supplying 800 tons
of limestone ships at various points, as advertised for by Controller; preset

for County Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston and Barnes; Acting Deputy Con-
troller Jones representing office of County Controller; bids from fallowing
concerns were opened and read in presence of County Commissioners, each bid be-
ing accompanied by certified check, as required;

Motion by Mr. Johnston, second by Mr, Barnes, chat contracts for
delivery of lime stone chips for use on County roads, as set forth in adver-
tisement of County Controller, and bid upon, be awarded to Keystone Builder's
Supply Company, Washington, Pa., and Reinhold & Company Pittsburgh, Pa., lowest

bidders, in equal proportions, each of the successful bidders, to furnish
one half of quantities required, at points of delivery to be be designated
at prices quoted for said points of delivery, and that the Controller be
directed to return certified checks to all unsuccessful bidders. Question -
called for; voting "Aye", Messrs. Johnston and Barnes. Motion carried.
There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was
adjourned.
