Johnston j and Barnes; Mr. Walker having notice of meeting, but absent, Commissioners i and County Controller in joint session to receive bids for supplying 800 tons of limestone ships at various points, as advertised for by Controller; preset 1 for County Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston and Barnes; Acting Deputy Con- troller Jones representing office of County Controller; bids from fallowing concerns were opened and read in presence of County Commissioners, each bid be- ing accompanied by certified check, as required; Smith Steel Supply Company: Delivered Washington, B & 0 ,35 net ton. Penna, 2.25 Westland, 2.25 Houston, 2,25 Morganza, 2.15 Wylandville, 2.25 Eighty Four, 2.25 subject to discount of 10 cents perton if paid in 15 days. Keystone Builder's Supply Company; Delivered Washington, Wylandville, Westl , 2.25 net tan. BARNES, COMMISSIONERS bidders, in equal proportions, each of the successful bidders, to furnish one half of quantities required, at points of delivery to be be designated at prices quoted for said points of delivery, and that the Controller be directed to return certified checks to all unsuccessful bidders. Question - called for; voting "Aye", Messrs. Johnston and Barnes. Motion carried. There being no further business before the joint meeting, it was adjourned.
