Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Johnston, balker and Barnes.
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the Board proceed
to consider various bids before them and to take action upon awarding contracts.
Motion carried and the following awards were made;
Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that contract for erection
of shelving and cases in Law Library, for which bids were opened on June 2nd,
be awarded to the Ward Printing Company, Washington* at its low bid of $1140.00
Motion carried.

Motion by Mr.` Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, tYa t contract for supply-

ing, complete, 2850 feet of Resiliflea Road Guard, for which bids were opened
on June 2nd. , be awarded to Robert Swan, Jr., Pittsburgh, at his low bid of .47
eta per foot. Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the Neville
Company, Pittsburgh, be awarded contract to furnish and apply 15,500 gallons, i
more or less, of tar, for use on Thomas, Wylandville and Lone Pine Roads, for {
which bids were opened on June 2nd. , at its bid of .1045 eta. per gallon.

Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that contracts for col-
provia, amiesite and slagmac, for which bids were opened earlier this date:
be awarded, as follows;--Harrison Construction Co., Pittsburgh---2500 tons, more
or less, Colprovis, delivered on Thomas Road, at its low bid of $11.20 per ton; j

Hankins-Paulson Company,--500 tons, more or less, Amiesite, F 0 B Anderson Sta-
tion, at its low bid of $9.92 per ton; Koppers Products Co., Pittsburgh, 1800
tons, more or less, Slagmac, F 0 B Westland, at its low bid of $9.92. Motion
carried,
