Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston,
Walker and Barnes. Joint meeting with County Controller at 11:30 A. M. , to
open bids for delivery of ballots and supplies for Fall Primary of Sept. 15th. ,
to the proper election officers of the various districts of the County; present
for County Commissioners, Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes; Co;anty Controller
Woodward present; bids for delivery of ballots and supplies' opened and read in
presence of County Commissioners from the following persons, all bids being ac-
companied by certified checks in amount required;
Coatsworth & Hildebrand, $125.00
L. A, Maxwell, 112,00
Wm. Greenlee, 247.00
Chas. B. Moninger, 119.00
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Knestrick, 124.00
Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that contract for
delivery of ballots and supplies be awarded to L. A. Maxwell, at his low bid
of 112#00. Motion carried. There being norfurther business before the joint
meeting, it was adjourned.

Commissionerss approximately 110#000 Official Ballots 4ud 252000 Specimen Ballots
for the Fall Election of 1931s specifications, etc. s to be seen at the office of j

Motion by Mr, Walker* seconded by Mr, Barnes.. that County Controller be
requested ton advertise for bids for printing and furnishing necessary election
forma, pjkpersy computing books with names of candidates and party and questions
that may be submitted to voters to be printed thereon, Affidavits, Tally Sheets
and various Return Sheets* Envelopes., Record of Assisted Vot-er's Books., Voter's
Guides, together with all necessary stationary* Including pens, pencils, sealing
waxy red tapes etc. , etc. ., to be put up in 189 boxes to suit the requirements of
each of the thrid class city districts and the districts in the boroughs and tovn-
ships in Washington Countyp for use at the Municipal Election to be held on Novem.-

dubmitt6d by said Company when bids for same were opened and read before County
Commissioners on Aug, 28s 1931,
