BARNES, COMMISSIONERS Office of the County Commissioners, Washington, Pa., August 14, 1931# Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes. The following Resolution was presented, duly seconded and adopted; RESOLVED, That the County of Washington contribute the sum of Fifteen Thousand ($150000) Dollars from current revenues towards the improvement of the section of highway in the Borough of Houston, situate as follows; Pike Street beginning at the line between the Boroughs of Canonsburg and Houston and extending along Pike Street westwardly 4570 feet, more or less, to the wes- tern borough line, as per petition presented to County Commissioners by the Council of the said Borough, and in accordance with the Act of Assembly approved June 120 1919, P. L. 450, amended March 10, 1921, P. L. '26, further amended May 89 1929, P. L. 1651. There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned. Commissioners in regular sessions members present being Messrs* Johnston* Walker & Barnes,, County Engin6er Chaney presented the tabulation of bids opened and read on September 4y 19;51s for inWovement of Roscoe-Stockdale Road and Pike Run Road; motion by Mr. Walkers seconded by Mr. Barnes, that contract for Pike Run Road, approximately 14,800 sq. yds. , be awarded to W. K. Reeds Waynesburg, at his low bid of $38p594.00 and that contact for Roscoe-Stock- dale Road be awarded to Donora Construction. , at its low bid of $2300s there being approximately 2300 sq. yds. in said improvement* Motion carried* There being no further business before the Boards the meeting was adjourned.
