Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.. Johnston, Walker and Barnes, Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the rate' of tax- ation upon the valuations of the property of the County, in order to raise suffi* cient revenues to meet required expenditures for the year 1924, be fixed at **Y*n and one-half ( 71) Mille, the same rate as adopted for the year 1923. Commissioners in regular session, members present being 34Wirs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes. Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that resign4pon of Albert X. Malcolm, as Night Watchman at the Court Rouse, be accepted and 'that he be relieved of his duties on February 29 , 1924, as per his request. Motion unanimously carried. Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that Henry Keeling be elected to the position of Night Watchman at the Court House, appoint to become effective March 1, 1924.
