An adjourned meeting of the Salary Board having to do with salaries of employees under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners was hold in the i I � office of the County .Commissioners on Monday, February 28, 1924, at 3:45 P. M. , the following members being present; County Commissioners J, S. Johnston, J. W. Walker and W. A. Barnes; County Controller Underwood having notice of meeting, but absent. Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that tho salary of A1 once M. Porter, Clerk in the office of County Commissioners, be fixed at $150 per month, commencing with February 1 , 1924; that the salary of Henry keeling, elected to position of Bight Watchman at Court House this date, be fixed at $100 per month, commencing with March 1, 1424; that salary of Mrs. Robinson, employed in office of County Commissioners in transcribing tax books , etc. , be fixed at a i $3.50 per diem, commencing with Vebruary 18, 1924. Motion unanimously carried. There being no further business before the Salary Board, it.4aftourned. Commissioners in regular session, *o*bore present being Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes. - I Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the Controller be h directed to advertise for bids for the printing and delivering of approximately 70,400 Official Ballots and 14,000 specimen ballots for the Spring Primary of 1924; number of ballots for each political party with specifications, to be sup- p1 64,,Ot the office of the County Commissioners. j Motion unanimously carried, There being no further business, the Board adjourned. A special meeting of the Salary Board having to do, Vith salaries in the office of the Prothonotary was called by R, B. Pollock, Prothonotary, and- hold in the offJ00 of the County Commissioners on Monday, March 3, 1924, the following members being present; County Commission- ors, J. B. Johnston, J. W. Walker and � 1. A. Barnes, County Controller T. J. Underwood and Prothonotary H. $. Pollock; Motion by Mr. Pollock, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the salary of Matilda J4, Swartz , � an employeerJn the office of the Prothonotary, be increased from $110 per .ponth to $125 per, 1,month, beginning March 1 , 1924, and that the salary of luth M. An adjourned meeting of the Salary Beard having to do with salaries of ehunty empleyees coming under the jurisdiction of the County Uommissionsrs Was held on Thursday , March 13, 1924, at 2:30 P. M. , the following members being present; j County Commissioners Johnston, Walker and Barnes, County Controller Underwood. Notion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the salary of i John F. Curran, duly and regularly elected Sealer of Weights and Measures in and for the County of Washington, be fixed at $200 per month, from the let day of January, 1924. Motion unanimously carried.
