of County Commissioners, each bid accompanied by 'required certified check;
Ward Printing Company, $2900.00
Derrick Publishing Company, 2183.00
Robinson Print Shop, 2865..18
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that bid forprinting
and delivering of ballots, as per specifications, be awarded to the Derrick
Publishing Company, the lowest and best bidder, at its bid of $2183.00, and
that certified checks be returned at once to unsuccessful bidders. nuestion
called for; voting "Aye" 'Messrs. Barnes and Johnston. Motion carried. There
being no further business before the joint session, it was adjourned.

The Salary Board, having to do with salaries in the office of the
County Commissioners met in the office of the County Commissioners on Friday,
Oct- 3, 1924, at 11:45 A. M., at the call of the County Commissioners; members
present being Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes and County Controller
Underwood.
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that Mrb. Robison,
Misses Davis, Caton and Marsh, employed in the office of County Commis ioners
in*the capacity of extra employees, engaged upon making of registration lists,
be paid at rate of $3-50 per them for the number of days they are this
necessarily employed. 'Obtion unanimously carried.
there being no further business, the Board adjourned.
