Commissioners in regular session,, members present being Messrs . Johnston and Walker; Mr. Barnes having notice of meeting, but absent. Lotion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that County Treasurer be directed to transfer, with approval of the County Controller, the sum of One Hundred eighty thousand ($180,000.00 ) Dollars from the Road Fund of the County of Washington to the General Fund thereof, for the purpose of meeting Qurrent expenses, of the county, the said sum of Ten Thousand Dollars to be returned to Road Fund from first tax moneys received. Motion carried, voting "Aye" Messrs . Walker and Johnston. APPROVED: T. J. The following resolution duly presented seconded and adoptedi•-*, RESOLVED: That the valuations of property for tax as.seasiiint -purposes returned by the Assessor in and for the Borough of Donora for the tri-ennial period of 1925-1926-1927, be approved and adopted and the various appeals d it- , missed, subject to the Individual corrections already made. The following Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Washington, relative to the issue by the said County of $50,000-00 in temporary loans was presented, duly seconded and unanL*Dusly adopted by said Board, to wit;- TH&REAS, it has beopme necessary for the said Board to borrow the sum of $50,000.00 for the purpose of meeting current expenses for the year 1925 and for which taxes have been lVvied but not yet paid into the County Treasury,' now, Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County commissioners of the said County of Washington, for the purpose of providing fupda for the payment of current expenses , the proper officers of the said County are hereby authorized and directed to negotiate temporary loans and issue Notes therefor, payable on 4emand, , with interest from date ; said Notes to be negotiated and issued as follows :-- National Bank of Claysville , $20j000.00 Real Estate Trust Co, Washington 20#000.00 First Nat.
