The followingResolution was duly pxesented, seconded and adopted
unanimously:-
WHEREAS* it is the desire of the Commissioners of the County of
Washington to accept the provisions of the Act of July 1, 1919, P. L. 893 and tie

amendment thereto approved the 27th day of May, 1923, being Act #433 , also
the amendment of May 22, 1923 , being Act #200, commonly known as the Mothers'
Assistance Fund Act, and to make same effective in said County, and to ap- -
propriate from the funds of the County of Washington, for the purpose *f
carrying said Act into effect a sum of money equal to the amount apportioneA,
to the County of Washington from the appropriation made by the Legislature, as
per Act approved April 10, 1925, A88A, and,
WHERFM, it has been ascertained by the County Commissioners
that the amount of such apportionment to Washington County, under said Act
for the period commencing June 1, 1925 and ending May 31, 1927, is Twenty-seyen
thousand eight hundred fifty-two- and 50100 ($27,852.50 ) Dollars , Therefore ,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners of the County of Washington
that a like sum, to-wit, $27,852.50, be and the same is hereby appropriated
from the general funds of the County of Washington to the Trustees of the
Mothers ' Assistance Fund of said County, to be disbursed by the Trustees in
accordance with the provisions of the Acts aforesaid.

Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that County Controller
be requested to advertise for bids printing, binding and delivering 86
assessment books , of approxiiiatelY 7895 folio pages and 88- field books, of
approximately 6600 pages , for use in making the annual assessment for the yvar
1926; specifications to be seen at office of County Commissioners ,
Motion unanimously tarried.
