HomeMy WebLinkAboutCOMM - Meeting Minutes - - 4-17-1925 - SALARYMINUTE BOOK BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA J ELMER JOHNSTON, JAMES W WALKER, W H ECKER, COMMISSIONERS Motion by Mr. Pollock, seconded by Mr. Walker, that salaries of employees in office of Prothonotary be adjusted in the following manner; beginning with April 1, 1925, the employees of said officebe paid as follows; - Matilda J. Schwartz, at rate of $135.00 per month; Russell S. Riggle, be paid at rate of $125.00 per month; Ruth M. Barkley be paid at rate of $125.00 per month. Motion unanimously carried. There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned. ----------- The Salary -Board having to do with salaries in the office of the County commissioners, having been called in session by the County Commissioners, met in the office of the-l-,ounty Commissioners on Friday, April 17, 1925, at 11a55 .A. ki, following members being present; County commissioners Johnston, Walker and Barnes, County Controller Underwood. Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Underwood, that extra employees in office of County Commissioners be paid at rate of $4.00 per diem, effective an of April 1, 1925. Motion unanimously carried. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Underwood, that salary of Earl Amos, an employee in office of County Commissioners be fixed at $150.OQ per month, effective as -of -April 1, 1()251 in accordance with agreement when Mr. Amos was first employed, and that a voucher for additional $25 for month of April be prepared at end of current monthj SAI beginning with May 1, 1925, his name be on pay roll at rate of $150-00 per ma3fth. Motion unanimously carried. There being no further business, Board was adjourned. SIGNED COUNTY MIMISSIONERS. April 17, 1925. WHEREAS, it is provided by Act of Assembly -approved May 311 1911# P.
