are thus incurred shall be sub#titted to the Salary Board and the bills for
same shall be approved by the said Board before being ordered paid., kotion
carried. There being no•further business before the Board, it was adjourned
The Salary Board having to do with salaries of the employees of the
office of Prothonotary met in the office of the County Commissioners on
Monday, January 4, 1926, at 2:30 P. M-, the following members being present;
Prothonotary Harry E. Pollock, county Commissioners Johnston, Walker and #arms
and County Controller Underwood;
Motion my Mr. Pollock, seconded by Mr. Walker, that all employees
at present in the office of the Prothonotary be retained for the ensuing year
and that salaries remain the same as for the year 1925; that when it becomes
necessary to employ an outside person or persons for attendance on behalf
of the office in the '-ourt of Common Pleas that said person or persons be paid
at rate of Six ($6.00) Dollars per diem for their services► and that. the name.
of the Person or persons so employed, with amount due at rate indicated
be certified by Prothonotary to proper officers -for payment. Carried.
Board adjourned.
The Salary Board having to do with salaries in the office of the
Sheriff met in the office of the County Commissioners on Monday, January 4,
1926, at 2:45 P. M., the following members being present; Sheriff Abbott,
County Commissioners Johnston, Walker and Barnes and County Controller
Underwood.
Notion by Mr. Abbott, seconded by Mr. Walker,,that deputies and clerks
now employed in the office of the Sheriff be retained and that they be paid
the fallowing salaries:-
J. A. Seaman, Deputy, $200.00 per month;
William Baker, 175.00
t Mrs. Riser, clerk and stenographer., 110.00 per month;
Motion carried.
There being no further business before the Board, it was adjourned.
