Commissioners in regular session, Members present being Messrs . Johnston and 75artev;Xry Walker having notice of meeting, but absent. Notice by Mr. 'Hashes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that County Treasurer be requested to transfer, with approval of County Controller, the sum of Twenty-five Thousand ($25,000.00) Dollars from the Road Fund of the County of Washington to the General Fund thereof, the said sum to be used in meeting of current expenses of the said County. question called for; voting "Aye" , Messrs. MINUTES OF MEETING JOINT BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS WASHINGTON AND FAYETTE COUNTIES BROWNSVILLE,* PA. , JULY 1, 1926. A joint meeting of. the County Commissioners of Fayette and Washington Counties was held at the Monongahela House, Brownsville, Pa. , July 1, 1926. All Commissioners from both Counties were present together with Engineers Clemmer and Chaney. Messrs. Samuel Taylor and L. F. Arensber, Jr. appeared for the Brownsville Water Company and asked permission for the placing of a 100 water line on the Brownsville Bridge. On motion duly passed it was decided that the water company should submit a plain for this work to the Engineers who would then make a report and recommendation to the joint board of County Commissioners. It was moved by Mr. Walker and seconded by Mr. McClelland that the County Controllers be asked to advertise for paint and painting of the Brownsville Bridge. This motion was carried. On motion of Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. McClelland, the County Controllers were asked to advertise for bids for encasing the old river piers of the Belle Vernon Bridge and also for the construction of the new piers for the same bridge and also for the construction of two piers for the same bridge in accordance with the plans submitted by Mr. Clemmer. There being noiafurther business before the meeting all members ad- joined to the bridge where inspection was made of the Brownsville Bridge. Secretary, of Meeting. I
