Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston,
Walker and -Barnes;
Motion by 'Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that contract for printing
and delivering Official and Specimen Ballots for General Election to be
held on November 2nd, 1926, be awarded to the Derrick Publishing Company,
Oil City, Pa., at its low bid of $785.00, when bids for same were duly
opened and read in presence of County Commissioners on October 4, 19261 and
that Controller be directed to return to Ward Printing Company* Washington,
Pa., the certified check that accompanied bid of said Company.
Motion carried.
Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by ]&. Barnes, that County Controller
be requested to advertise for bids for delivery of ballots and supplies
for General .Electiottoto be,.'held on November 2, 1926, to the proper officers
of the respective Election Districts of Washington County, delivery to be
made on Saturday, October 30 and Monday, November 1, 1926.
Motion carried.

The following Resolution was duly presented, seconded and adopted;-
MiRREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, in regular session on
February 1, 1926, by Resolution duly presented and adopted, agreed to ex-
tend -aid from the Road Funds of the county towards the improvement of
certain highways in Boroughs and Townships, under certain gondition upon
proper application therefor, and
WE M AS, applications have been made, from time to time during the
year 1926 from Boroughs and Townships and Agreements entered into wdth proper
officers of said Boroughs and townships for the improvement of hiaways within
their borders, in accordance with the Resolution above indicated, now,
