Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker and Barnes; Mr. Johnston having notice of meeting, but absent.
Joint meeting with County Controller to open bids for furnishing
and placing on floor of Sheriff's Office,, Court Hdute, cemented to floor,
etc. , 75 square yards of Armstrong I4^eleum, as per ad by County Coa-
troller; present for County- Commissioners, Messrs. Walker and Zaknes; for
Controller, Mr. Underwood. - Bids from following concerns opened in pres-
ence of 1,ounty Commissioners and read;-
Holder & Fuhr, $243.75
Cut Price Furniture Store, 219:J7 less $7.-50
or total bid 211 7

Woodward-Wright Furniture Co. , 210.00
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that contract be
awarded to the Woodward-Wright Furniture Company,, at *its bid of $210.00.
motion carried.
There being no further business , the Bo $1 adjourned.

Walker and -Oarnes; Mr. Johnston having notice of meeting, but absent;
Joint meeting of County Commissioners and County Controller to
open bids for leading and hauling "red dog" en Route No. 115, from
Burgettstown; present for ',,;ounty Commissioners. Messrs. Walker and Barnes ;
County Controller Underwood present; bids received from "ardy and Rankin
and from Nelan and Irwin and read in presence of County vommiasioners;
Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that contract fQr loading
said "red dog* be awarded to Hardy & Rankin at their bid therefor of 4Q
cents per ton; that contract for hauling ,said0red dog" be awarded to Nolan
and Irwin at their bid therefor of 48 cents per ton, the k-ommissionors
reserving -the right to use three county trucks in the hauling of said
*red dog" and with th6 further provIslon that hardy and Rankin be 'allowed
to put on two of their trucks for the hauling of said *red dog*, and
with further understanding that it is agreed that at least 400 tons *hall be
moved daily.
