Moores's Sons on the basis of $1872, as agreed upon. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Langley that the contract for cleaning and painting the West Brownsville bridge be awarded to the Central Contracting Company at its low bid of $4900. Motion carried. lkotioii by Mr. McClelland, seconded by Mr. Walker that the contract for improvement of the Inter-County bridge between Belle Vernon and Speers by encasement of piers in concrete etc . , be awarded to the Ferris Ingineering Company, of Pittsburgh, at its low bid, submitted on August 11* 1926, of $185,000. Motion carried. Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. McClelland that the proposal submitted by the South Brownsville Grocery Company for the erection of steps leading to the approach of the Brownsville bridge on the South Brownsville side of the Monongahpla River, be approved and that the construction, if carried out, shall be done under the supervision and apprvval 4W the County Engineers of Fayette and Washington Countied-- There being no further business before the jvinj; neetiAt, i* wed adjaufted. Motion by Mr. Barnes, seconded by Mr. Johnston, that the County Controller be directed to advertise for bids for printing and delivering to they-)offics of the County commissioners approximately 75,000 Official Ballots and 15,000 Specimen Ballots for the General Election to be held on November 2, 1926, the specifications for said ballots to be seen at the office of the County, Commissioners.
