Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs.
Walker,- Johnston and Barnes.
The following Resolution was presented,duly seconded and adopted;-
WHEREAS, the Supervisors of North Franklin Township, Washington
County, have presented a petitfion to this Board, representing that a
section of highway in said Township, being about 5708 feet in length and
situated as follows : N. Franklin Township and connecting Route No. 109
and National Pike, is in need of improvement and asking aid for same under
provisions of Act of March 10, 1921, now,
BE IT RESOLVED) that the Commissioners of Washington County, agree
on behalf of said County to contribute $5000 from current revenues towards
the improvement of said highway, in accordance with the provisions of the
Act of Assembly mentioned.

Wn;REAS, a petition has been presented by the Supervisors of Blaine
Township, representing that a section of highway in said Township, known as
the Taylorstown-Ridge -load, a distance of some one and one-fourth miles in
length, is in need of improvement, and asking County aid under provisions of
Acts of Assembly in such case made and provided, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County

of Washington agrees to contribute the sum of $3000-00 from current funds
towards said improvement, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of
Assembly in such case made and provided, and WHEREAS, the said Supervisors
of Blaine Township have further petitioned the County Commissioners , repre-
senting that a section of road in said Township of Blaine, known as the Tay-
lorstown-Bruch Run Road, a distance of one mile, is in need of improvement
and asking County aid under the provisions of the Acts of Assembly in such
case made and provided, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County of 'Washington
agrees to contribute the sum of $2500.00 from current funds towards said im-
provement, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly in such
case made and provided.
There being no further business before the meeting, the Board adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes , that County Controller
be requested to advertise for bids for printing and delivering to office of
County Commissioners * approximately 80,000 official ballots and 15,000 specimen
ballots for use at 1hunicipal Election to be held on November 8, 1927, specifi-
cations for ballots to be seen at office of County Commissioners ,
Motion carried*
WHEREAS, A petition has been presented by the Supervisors of Mt.
Pleasant- Township, representing that a section of highway in said township,
beginning at 'Jounty brook road in Westland and extending northwardly a dis-
tance of one mile, is in need of improvement and asking for County aid in
its improvement, under the provisions of the Acts of Assembly in such case
made and provided, now, therefore , BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Washington
agrees to contribute the sum of $5000 from current funds towards said improve-
ment which is to be of 1'ater bound macadam; fifteen (15) feet wide, in ac-
cordance with the provisions of the Acts of Assembly in such case made .and
provided.
