Commissioners in regular session, members present being Messrs. Johnston,
Walker and Barnes.
Motion by Mr. Johnston, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that Thos Arrigo be
given the contract for hauling and spreading red -dog on the Taylorts Run Road, at
the rate of Thirty ($30*00) Dollars per day each for 5-ton trucks and forty (40)
cents per hour for labor. Motion unanimously carried.
There being no further business,
the Board adjourned.

Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that the County Controller
be requested to advertise for bids for the delivery of ballots and election sup-
plies to the proper officers of the various election districts of Washington
County, for use at the Municipal Election of November 8. 1927, delivery to be
made on Saturday, Nov. 5. and Monday, November 7, 1927.

printing 175 Road Improvement Bonds, series of 1927, $1000 Denomination, serial
and coupon bonds,, be awarded to F. Englert Lithographing Company* Pittsburgh,
at their proposal of 07-50.

RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA.
Upon the application of the officers of Washington Camp No.
120. Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War for the privilege of erecting a
monument -and memorial to the memory of the Veterans of the Civil War on the I
front lawn of the Court House fronting on Main Street at the South East corner;
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Washington County
in regular session met that said application be granted and said lawn reserved
for the same and the privilege of erecting said monument given. The plans
and spe6ificationi to be subject to the approval of the County Commissioners
alid the Art Commission of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

By resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of
Washington County, Pennsylvania, consent is hereby given to Camp No. 120 Sons
of Union Veterans to transfer the above privilege to the National D..',A*. R.
Association and the National Old Trails Road Association for the purpose of
erecting the Pioneer Monument "The Yadonna of the Trail" presented to the
State of Pennsylvania, and located at Washington, Pa. by, -the National Com-
mittee.
Adopted this 1st day of November, 1927-
