BARNES, COMMISSIONERS 1,M BE IT FURTHER RESOLVER, that before any of said bonds shall be issued, a Statement shall be prepared, executed and filed in the office of the Clerk of the Court of Quarter Sessions of Washington County, as required by the aecond section of the aforesaid Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved,on the 20th day of April, 1874, and the Acts amendatory thereof and supplemental thereto. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVER, that the notice be given by adver- tisement for the sale of said bonds in accordance with the provisions of the Act of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved the 6th day of July 1917, and the Acts amandatory thereof and supplemental thereto, and that the same be sold to the highest responsi- ble bidder after due public notice as required by said Act, provided that no bid for said bonds at less than their par value shall be accepted. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVE}, that said One Hundred Seventy Five Thousand (175,000.00) Dollars of bonds, when duly prepared, signed and sealed in the form above set forth, shall be delivered to the purchasers hereof, as hereinabove provided, on payment of the purchase price thereof, and the receipt of the Treasurer of the said County shall be to the pur- chaser a full acquittance for the said purchase price, and the said pur- chasers shall not be bound to see to the application of the proceeds thereof. M. to open bids for printing and delivering to office of County Commissioners approxi- mately 80,000 official ballots and 20,000 specimen ballots for use at Municipal Election of Nov. 8, 1927; present for County Commissioners, kessrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes; County Controller Underwood present; bids from following concerns, accompanied by required certified check, opened in presence of County Commissioners; Ward Printing Company, $895.00 Derrick Publishing Co., 1275.00 Motion by Mr. Walker, seconded by stir. Barnes, that bid of Ward Printing Company be accepted and contract awarded to said Company and that k the County Controller return certified check to unsuccessful bidder. Motion carried.
