The Salary Board, having to do with the salaries of the employees in the office of the County Coi:misBioners and other employees of the County of Washing4� ton, coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., Monday, January 3, 192-7, at 11:30 A. M., members present being County Commissioners, Johnston, Walker and Barnes and County Controller Underwood; Mr. Johnston acting as Chairman of the meeting; 1-lotion by Mr. Walker, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that salaries of all em- ployees in the office of County Commissioners and all other County Departments coming under the jurisdiction of the County Commissioners shall remain as here- tofore, for the ensuing year. M., members present being County Commissioners Johnston, Walker andlBarnes, County Controller Underwood and County Treasurer, J. E. Masters; Motion by Mr. Masters, seconded by Mr. Walker, that all em- ployees of the County Treasurer be retained for the ensuing year and at the same salaries as heretofore. Motion carried. The Salary Board, having to do woth salaries of employees in the office of the Sheriff, met in the office of the County Commi,sioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., Monday, January 3, 1927, at 11:45 A. X.-#, Mem- bers present being County Commissioners Johnston, Walker and Barnes,,County Controller Underwood and Sheriff Ody C. Abbott: Motion by Mr. Abbott, seconded by Mr. Walker, that all employees in the office of the bheriff be retained for the ensuing year. MQGregor; Motion by Mr. McGregor, seconded by Mr. Underwood, that the em- ployees in the office of the Clerk of 'ourts be retained for the ensuing year, on same basis as heretofore, and at same salary rates. Motion carried. There being no further business, the Board adjourned. -------------- The Salary Board having to do with salaries in the office of the Register of ,ills and Glerk of the Orphans' Court, met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., Monday, January 3, 1927, at 12:10 M., members present being County Commissioners Johnston, Walker and Barnes, County -Controller Underwood and Register John Aiken; Motion by Mr. Aiken, seconded by Mr. Barnes, that all employees in the office of Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphans' Court be retained for the ensuing year, at same salaries as heretofore. - Motion carried. There being nohXurther business, the Board adjourned. ----------------- The Salary Board having to do with salaries in the office of the Recorder of Deeds met in the office of the County Commissioners, Court liouse, Washington, Pa., Monday, January 3, 1927, at 3 P- M., members present being County Commissioners Johnston, Walker and Barnes, County Controller -Underwood and Recorder F R Baker; Motion by Mr. Underwood, seconded by Mr. Walker, that all em- ployees in the office of Recorder of Deeds be retained for the ensuing year, at same salaries as heretifore. question called for; Voting " Aye", Messrs. Underwood, Johnston, Walker, Barnes; Voting "No", Mr. Baker. Greenlee; Motion by Mr. Greenlee, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the one employee in the office of the coroner be retained for the ensuing year, at same salary as heretofore. Motion carried. ------------- The Salary Board having to do with the salary of stenographer in the of the District Attorney met in the office of the -l'ounty Commissioners, Court House, Washington, Pa., Monday, January 3, 1927, at 3:35 P M., members present being County Commissioners Johnston, Walker and -Barnes, County Controller Underwood and District Attorney H. W. Hughes; Motion by Mr. Hughes, seconded by Mr. Walker, that the stenog- rapher employed in the office of the District Attorney be retained, for the ensuing year, at same salary as heretofore. lotion carried.
