Commissioners in regular session, members present
being Messrs. Johnston, Walker and Barnes.
The following Resolution duly presented, seconded and
adopted;--

WHEREAS, a movement is under way to appropriately
decorate, for the Christmas Season, a part, or all , of
Fain street, Washington, before business blocks and pub-
lic placds, by the placing of selected trees of pine,

trimmed with vari colored electric light bulbs and to
light same at night by means of electricity, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the County of Washington does
appropriate, and said appropriation is hereby made, the
sum of Seventy ($70.00) Dollars from the funds of said
county, to have ouch trees placed before the Court House
f or and during the period agreed upon by the merchants
and other property owners, the said trees to be trimmed
as above set forth and lighted at night be electricity,
the said sum to cover the entire cost to which the County
may be put by reason of such Christmas Time decoration.
