J Horn be elected Assessor for Amwell Twp., to fill the vz-canc,y caused by the resignation of Mac Briston the regularly elected assessor. Carried Unanimously. February 7, 1928 Moser* Watson, Barnum and Hill in session; Bill from the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation for outlay for compensation paid amounting to42.88 for injuries to James White , on bridge in 'gent Bethlehem Town • ship presented. Hpon motion duly made a warrant was authorised to be drawn in payment 'of the stem of $42488 in full settlement of said claim upon filing of satisfac- tory receipt by said corporatoion. Carried unanimously. February--II, 1918 Messrs. Watson, Barnum and Hill in session: After due deliberation in regard to fixing the millage for the present year it was moved by Mr. Hill, seconded by Mr.- Barnum, we levy 4i'mille for the year 1918. Carried unanimously. Moved by- Mr. Watson, seconded by Mr. Hill that we pay to Mr. Chas. M. Lightner $75.00 settlement in fall for damage to horse in going through bridge on Plum Run.
